Van Obergums Hand

I am Tanja Brouwer. I live in Norg, a village west of the city of Assen. My household includes two Nova
Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever bitches called Laska Nired van de Echtinger Grift and her daughter Ayla
Lasmo v. Obergums Hand.

Tanja
Tanja (1969) graduated in ecology and law and is specialised in environmental, nature-protection and
animal law. Since some time, she works from home, writing texts for magazines. Also, she has her own
company for fresh, frozen dog- and catfood (meat), wich she also runs from home. Spending more time
at home meant having more time to keep pets and her childhood dream of owning a dog finally came
true.
During the last years she has specialised in canine studies. She also followed successfully several
courses on dog behaviour and obedience. She co-authored Praktisch Dierenrecht, a book about the legal
aspects of keeping pets and small live stock as well as exotic animals like snakes and parrots.
She loves hiking, training het dogs and baking (and eating) cakes.
